<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric conversion element material improving durability while maintaining interaction with an electrode and mobility as an electrode buffer material or the like for a solar cell, to provide a photoelectric conversion element using the photoelectric conversion element material, and to provide a solar cell using the photoelectric conversion element. <P>SOLUTION: The photoelectric conversion element includes a buffer layer and an active layer.
