PURPOSE: A composition for a flame retardant transparent light shaft board is provided to ensure excellent transparency and mechanical properties by comprising a cyclic phosphonate ester compound or a mixture thereof as a flame retardant. CONSTITUTION: A composition for a flame retardant transparent light shaft board comprises an unsaturated polyester resin, hardener, curing accelerator, reinforcing material and flame retardant. A cyclic phosphonate ester compound or a compound thereof is included as the flame retardant. The hardener is one or more selected from the group consisting of methyl ethyl ketone peroxide, cyclohexanone peroxide, benzoyl peroxide and t-butylperoxybenzoate. The reinforcing material is glass fiber.
