<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency in image reading while preventing erroneous diagnosis caused by the lack of information. <P>SOLUTION: When associated information D3a-D3i associated with a medical image is added on the medical image to be displayed in a display part, the medical image of a region within an attention region 51 is displayed and associated information D3e and D3f is displayed on the medical image. As for the other region 52 than the attention region, the image of the region is masked and displayed at a predetermined luminance lower than the luminance of the attention region 51, and associated information D3a, D3b, D3c, D3d, D3g, D3h and D3i added on the other region 52 than the attention region is displayed at a predetermined luminance lower than the luminance of the attention region 51 but higher than the luminance of the masked other region 52 than the attention region. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
