<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor material to be easily removed when scratched or damaged. <P>SOLUTION: The floor material 1 of substantially rectangular shape in a plan view formed with a tongue 2 and a groove 3 on two adjacent sides is formed with grooves 4, 5 from the rear face 1b side of the floor material to the front face 1a side in a position of 2.0 (preferably 8.5) to 15.5 mm to the tongue side from the inner part 3a of the groove 3. The grooves 4, 5 are preferably formed into a depth not lower than the height of a lower protrusion 3b of the groove 3 up to a height not reaching the lower face of an upper protrusion 3c. The constructed floor material is lifted upward to break a portion including the lower protrusion 3b of the groove 3, from the groove formed on the inner rear face side of the groove 3.
