PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a robot capable of visually confirming a lower part without intercepting a visual field by a base body, in a neck joint having a low degree of freedom. SOLUTION: This robot 100 includes a body part 10, a head part 30 connected via the neck joint 20 to an upper part of the body part 10, and an imaging device 40 mounted on the head part 30 and imaging the external world. The neck joint 20 includes a first rotary part 21 rotating around a horizontal shaft L1 and a second rotary shaft part 22 rotating around a rotary shaft L2 inclined forward from the vertical direction in a state of making the head part 30 turn to the front of the robot 100.
