PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side visor for an automobile and a mounting structure for the same capable of outstandingly effectively preventing the situation that rain water turned around from a distal end intrudes to an indoor side regardless of design accuracy of a member and mounting accuracy to the automobile. SOLUTION: The side visor 1 for the automobile includes a visor body 2 and a closure member 3. In the visor body 2, an eaves part 4 is formed in a lengthy band form and a flange part 5 is provided along an upper end edge of the eaves part 4. Further, on a distal end of the eaves part 4, an engagement projection piece 10 is provided. Whereas, in a fixing member 5, a water-stop projection piece 13 is provided on a base end side, and an engagement hole is punchedly provided to be adjacent to the water-stop projection piece 13. The side visor 1 for the automobile is mounted to the automobile in the state that the engagement projection piece 10 of the visor body 2 is engaged with an engagement hole of the closure member 3 and the water-stop projection piece 13 of the closure member 3 is abutted on a distal end of the visor body 2.
