PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology reducing operation noise in performing a binding treatment for a bundle of paper without lowering productivity. SOLUTION: An image forming system includes a plurality of image forming means forming an image on the paper, a binding treatment means penetrating a binding needle through the bundle of the paper on which an image is formed by any image forming means of the plurality of image forming means and binding the bundle of the paper, and an adjusting means adjusting the moving speed of the binding needle when the binding means binds the bundle of the paper according to the contents of the image forming treatment performed for each paper of the bundle of the paper bound by the binding treatment means and according to which image forming means out of the plurality of image forming means performs the image forming treatment for the paper.
