PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile transmission method in which a prevention degree of wrong transmission is high, and troublesome time and effort are not necessary for transmission of the high prevention degree of the wrong transmission. SOLUTION: The prevent invention relates to a facsimile transmission method with a preliminary stage and a main transmission stage. The preliminary stage includes: an information I transmission step which transmits predetermined information I to a facsimile X from a facsimile A; a confirmation step which confirms whether the information I correctly arrived or not; and a CSI (Called Subscriber ID) information reception step which receives the information from the facsimile X. The main transmission stage includes a discrimination step in which the facsimile apparatus A discriminates whether or not the CSI information received in the CSI information reception step in the main transmission stage and the CSI information stored in the memory in the CSI information storage step in the preliminary stage, agree with each other; and if agreement of the CSI information is discriminated in the discrimination step, the transmission step continues.
