PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in achieving reduction of both operating cost of mounting and fixing, and manufacturing cost of a covering material for a pipe. SOLUTION: The covering material for a pipe 1 is elastically formed so that the cross section in the direction perpendicular to the axis of the pipe 2 becomes spiral shape, which holds the superimposed state of a superimposition part by the elasticity when coated on the outer periphery of the pipe 2.
