PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust inlet casing for an exhaust turbocharger, which improves fatigue strength thereof by preventing the occurrence of local thermal heat stress and thermal fatigue fracture. SOLUTION: The exhaust inlet casing 20 for the exhaust turbocharger is attached to a turbine housing composing the exhaust turbocharger and leads exhaust gas led to an inlet 26 thereof to a turbine nozzle annularly arranged near downstream of an outlet 27 thereof in the turbine housing. The exhaust inlet casing includes a hollow cylindrical outer casing 24, and an inner casing 25 which is formed in such a manner that a back surface 25a thereof is raised to one side toward the outlet 27 from the inlet 26 and that both side surfaces and a body surface thereof gradually expand in the circumferential direction from the back surface and forms an inlet passage 10b between the back surface 25a, both side surfaces and the body surface, and the inner circumference surface 24a of the outer casing 24.
