<p>A cell sample collection and transfer device is provided. The device may include a plunger configured to slide to a plurality of positions for controlling an expandable tip. The expandable tip may be operable to collect cell samples from a target site. In one example, the expandable tip may be further operable to transfer the collected cell samples when placed in contact with a receiving surface.
