<p>The invention relates to a light, easy-to-transport measurement platform to be installed in water, comprising an improved suction-anchor-type foundation that forms the base of the platform. Use is made of the pressure difference between the exterior and the interior in order to drive same into the sea bed, and extraction for re-use is made possible by reversing the pressure gradient. The measurement platform also includes: a series of telescopically connected tubes; a housing on top of said tubes, containing the devices; a vertical-axis wind turbine for powering the assembly; a device (WiMAX or equivalent) for transmitting data to the land station; and a Doppler laser airspeed indicator, security cameras and a Doppler current meter terminal. All of the data recorded by the devices and the images from the security cameras are sent to the land station in a continuous manner. In this way, the security of the facility is increased and possible sabotage is prevented.</p> |
