The method involves transmitting information message (IM) processable by a motor vehicle (1) to the vehicle based on communication between the vehicle and an entity (2) that provides telematics service. Data (R) processable by the vehicle are generated in the entity in response to a request of a user in the vehicle, where the information message has a link (L) e.g. Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) link, to the generated data that are downloaded via the link. The request of the user is transmitted to an operator in the entity via voice connection (VC). An independent claim is also included for an entity for implementing a telematics service for a motor vehicle.
