LIGHTING DEVICE AND DISPLAY DEVICE WITH THE SAME

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device capable of cutting only light of wavelength absorbed by a color filter among light from a light source and raising color purity of display by effectively achieving light of wavelength penetrating the color filter and improving color reproducibility.

SOLUTION: A wavelength selection film includes cyanine dye which selectively absorbs the light of specific wavelength (560-590 nm) and light-emits the light of about 600 nm and organic fluorescent pigment which absorbs blue light and light-emits green light is arranged on an emitting surface of a light guide of the lighting device, or is arranged between the light source and an incident surface of the light guide.
