<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power consumption management device, system, method and program for automatically calculating power consumption of each electric appliance about a various kinds of electric appliances connected to a network, and notifying a user about the power consumption in prescribed timing to reduce the consumption. <P>SOLUTION: This power consumption management device 50 detects a start of power of the electric appliance 20, starts measurement of a start time to the electric appliance, determines electric appliance information of the electric appliance 20 by transmission/reception of a packet, calculates the power consumption of the electric appliance 20 based on a power consumption catalog value retrieved from the electric appliance information and the start time, and notifies it in the timing of a shutdown of a user terminal 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
