<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a diagnostic for estimating the amount of an amyloid fibril nucleus becoming dangerousness capable of forming amyloid fiber or becoming its "seed" or the amount of protein molecular species being the origin of the nucleus; to early evaluate the infection or the possibility of infection with amyloidosis; and to develop a prophylactic or a remedy of amyloidosis. <P>SOLUTION: The following are novel peptides, each being an amyloid fibril core site peptide of humanα-synuclein protein: peptides equivalent to from the 76th amino acid to 94th to 96th amino acids; and peptides obtained by substituting the 94th phenylalanine with another amino acid in the peptides.
