<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic photoelectric conversion element excellent in photoelectric conversion efficiency wherein an insoluble component is sufficiently removed, and a production method for obtaining the element. <P>SOLUTION: Disclosed is a production method for an organic photoelectric conversion element including a pair of electrodes and an active layer which is positioned between the pair of electrodes and contains an organic compound.
