PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for extracting a wheel capable of extracting the wheel from a tire in a short time. SOLUTION: This device includes a receiving base 12 formed with an opening part 16 through which the wheel W can be passed and arranged with the tire T with the wheel W, a tire separating/fixing device 21 separating an outer bead part from an outer rim of the wheel W by pressing a rear part of an outer sidewall of the tire T by a blade 22 and further fixing the tire T to the receiving base 12 by pressing the sidewall to an internal surface of an inner sidewall, and a wheel extruding device 51 pushing a rear part of a disk part D of the wheel W downward by projecting an extrusion body 52 at a prescribed extrusion angle approaching an axial center O of the tire T from an outer peripheral side and separating the wheel W from the inside of the tire T, while rotating the wheel W with a fulcrum rod 54 arranged on a bottom surface in a front part of the opening part 16 as a center.
