PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for transmitting/receiving fragmentation packet are provided to reduce the size of a fragmentation header in a wireless sensor network. CONSTITUTION: A sensor unit(260) senses a surrounding environment. A packet management unit(210) creates a fragmentation packet. A communication unit(220) transmits and receives the fragmentation packet. A storage unit(230) stores a routing table(500) and a fragmentation table(600). If a first fragmentation packet is received, a table management unit(250) extracts fragmentation information included in the first fragmentation packet. The table manager creates the routing table and the fragmentation table. |
