<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the degradation of efficiency of using a screen, which is caused by uniformly fixing one end of the screen as a subtitle display area when displaying a subtitle together with a stereoscopic video. <P>SOLUTION: A video shift mode for stipulating the processing of ensuring the display areas of the subtitles is set for each of the subtitles, and when playing back the stereoscopic video, a video plane is shifted upwardly or downwardly and cropped in accordance with the video shift modes of the subtitles, and black frames on the top and bottom are collected at a screen bottom end or a screen top end, thereby ensuring the display areas of the subtitles. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
