<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently suppress irregularity of a decoded image even if an error occurs. <P>SOLUTION: The multi-viewpoint motion image decoding apparatus 100 decodes a motion image stream including a first coded motion image information of a first viewpoint and coded second motion image information of a second viewpoint. The apparatus 100 includes a decoding section 120 for decoding a motion image stream, an error detecting section 130 for detecting an error from the motion image stream, and an error image repairing section 140 for repairing the detected error. The error image repairing section 140 includes a decoding control section 142 for controlling the decoding section 120 so that second coded image information included in the second motion image information and scheduled to be decoded after the first coded image information can be decoded when an error is detected in the first coded image information included in the first motion image information, and a repair processing section 143 for repairing the detected error by using the decoded image information generated by decoding the second coded image information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
