PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of giving an operator a sense of incongruity due to large resistance when inserting a male connector of an infusion circuit or the like into a hemostasis valve because the hemostasis valve is disposed at an inlet of a housing.
SOLUTION: This indwelling catheter includes a catheter tube 2 connected to the tip side of the catheter base 1; the hemostasis valve 3 disposed in a middle region in the catheter base 1; and a pusher 4 slidably disposed in the catheter base to perform the opening/closing operation of the hemostasis valve 3. The hemostasis valve 3 is formed with a valve hole slit 3a at the center of a front end face, and a pusher receiving part 3b on the rear end opening side. The pusher receiving part 3b holds the outer periphery of the pusher 4 slidably in a slip-off stop state. Air vent grooves 3c, 3c are formed in the outer periphery of the hemostasis valve 3. The air vent grooves 3c, 3c extract air so that the hemostasis valve 3 can smoothly slide in the catheter base 1 with no air resistance.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
