<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel bearing, and an in-wheel type motor integrated wheel bearing device in an electric vehicle improving sealing performance and durability. <P>SOLUTION: A seal 34 is composed as an integral type constituted of a core metal 36 pressed into an end inner periphery of an outer member 27, and a seal member 37 joined to the core metal 36 by vulcanized adhesion. The seal member 37 has a side lip 37a and a dust lip 37b inclined and extended radially outward and slidably contacting a base 28b of a wheel mounting flange 28 via an axial margin, and a grease lip 37c inclined and extended to a bearing inward side. The base 28b is formed in a cross-sectionally arced curved surface, and the side lip 37a and the dust lip 37b are slidably contacted to the base 28b via the axial margin. A cover 37d of the seal member 37 integrally molded so as to cover a weir part 36c of the core metal 36 is formed so as to project radially outward than an outer diameter of an end of the outer member 27. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
