<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a masking tape without causing repellency of a coating surface by using an aqueous emulsion composed of a paraffin wax as a release agent. <P>SOLUTION: This masking tape is provided with a separation layer on one surface of a paper base material and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer on another surface. The masking tape is characterized in that the separation layer is formed of the separation agent containing an aqueous dispersing body (I) formed by dispersing the paraffin wax in the water in the presence of a surfactant with an HLB value of 7-13 of addition-polymerizing ethylene oxide to long chain aliphatic primary alcohol, and its coating quantity is 0.02-2g/m<SP>2</SP>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
