<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce time and effort required for mounting work to a cable in an insulating protective pipe mounted to a cable during hot line work. <P>SOLUTION: An insulating protective pipe 1 includes an inner cladding pipe 10 formed into a cylindrical shape so as to cover a cable and having a cut along the axial direction, an outer cladding pipe 20 formed into a cylindrical shape so as to cover the inner cladding pipe 10 and having a cut along the axial direction, and a rotation support mechanism that is located between the outer cladding pipe 20 and the inner cladding pipe 10 covered by the outer cladding pipe 20 and supports the inner cladding pipe 10 so as to be concentric with the outer cladding pipe 20 and relatively freely rotatable with respect to the outer cladding pipe 20. Namely, the insulating protective pipe 1 is configured to cover a cable by the inner cladding pipe 10 stored in the outer cladding pipe 20, while allowing the inner cladding pipe 10 to be rotated with respect to the outer cladding pipe 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
