<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of sufficiently diversifying the contents of a game till a jackpot game is executed by utilizing the opening/closing motions of an opening/closing member of a variable winning pocket. <P>SOLUTION: In the game machine, a game ball cannot enter a special symbol-starting electric generator unless the special symbol-starting electric generator is opened based on determination of a regular jackpot. When the game ball enters the opened special symbol-starting electric generator, the jackpot determination is executed for the first time in that stage.
