<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic booster capable of suppressing the hammering sound generated when a force on a brake pedal is released. <P>SOLUTION: This pneumatic booster includes a flow path area restriction mechanism 45 for restricting the flow path area of a negative pressure path 15 in the body part 13a of a valve body 13 immediately before an input rod 24 is retreated and a stop key 39 is brought into contact with the step part 40 of a rear shell 2. Since the retreating speed of the input rod 24 is changed to the slowest one immediately before the stop key 39 is brought into contact with the step part 40 of the rear shell 2, the hammering sound generated when the stop key 39 is brought into contact with the step part 40 of the rear shell 2 can be suppressed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
