<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent, at a low cost and with a simple configuration, a photoreceptor drum, intermediate transfer belt, or the like, from becoming out of control when feedback control and feed forward control are executed. <P>SOLUTION: The torque detecting section 160 of an image forming apparatus 100A calculates the load torque of a drum motor 181 based on a PWM command value from a feedback control section 14 and a speed command value from a control section 10. A threshold determining section 162 refers to a control table 163 from the load torque and the rotating speed of the drum motor 181 when determining that the load torque of the drum motor 181, supplied from the torque detecting section 160, is outside a predetermined threshold range. Then, the threshold determining section 162 obtains the optimal control value (the altered linear velocity of the drum motor 181) in which the load torque of the drum motor 181 is within a normal range. The feedback control section 14 generates a PWM command value, based on the control value of the drum motor 181 or the like, to supply the PWM command value to a motor drive section 180. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
