PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce frictional force applied to a piston at combustion explosion of an engine. SOLUTION: A thick part 26a and thin part 26b are formed on at least either of a thrust side or an anti-thrust side in a skirt part 26 of a piston 3. The thin part 26b consists of a first thin part 26b1 and second thin part 26b2 arranged inside a region of the first thin part 26b1. The second thin part 26b2 is made thinner than the first thin part 26b1. The thin part 26b is formed so as to become thinner in steps toward a collision point to a liner part 2a of a cylinder 2. Thus, frictional force applied to a piston 3 at combustion explosion of an engine 1 can be reduced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
