PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that an assembly device stops due to the fact that, in the process of peeling off a sheet-like optical film which is provided while being adhered on a mount for the assembly of an optical film for a backlight unit of a mobile liquid crystal, an adhesive layer remains on a belt-like mount and sticks to a roller of the assembly device. SOLUTION: A film peeling device is provided for improving peeling properties of the mount and the optical film that is used after being separated from the mount. The improvement can be achieved by employing a pre-step of curving, regardless of quality variations such as uneven punched patterns on the adhesive surface of the mount and the optical film, the optical film outwardly at a sharp angle with a roller having a small diameter prior to a step of peeling off the optical film by using such a tool as a knife edge.
