PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic wedge solving the following problems that a hydraulic wedge does not enhance efficiency in work due to necessity for being put in a space of a tree to be cut and repeatedly adjusted, and is not prevented from damaging remaining trees because the tree to be cut does not always fall in a fixed direction. SOLUTION: The useful hydraulic wedge includes a wedge depressed by piston movement of a hydraulic cylinder to easily fix a cutting direction to make the lumber-cutting work safe and secure so as to have highly efficient function for tree cutting work.
