The device has a guide housing (10), and an electromagnetic movable anchor unit (12) guided into the guide housing. The anchor unit comprises a sliding layer (18) on a working surface (16) that cooperates with a guide surface of the guide housing. The sliding layer is made by partial insert molding or encapsulation of the anchor unit. The sliding layer is partially at front surfaces (20, 22) of the anchor unit. The sliding layer comprises plastic and/or plastic composite and serves as a carrier layer for dry running and friction-reducing additive.
