The device has a stabilizer (9) section-wise formed as a torsion bar (8), where two sides of the stabilizer are connected with wheel guides of a wheel axle (1) of a vehicle by stabilizer arms (6, 7). Locking devices (13, 14) are provided for partially locking a region of the stabilizer with respect to a body of the vehicle and designed as looping clutches (15, 16). The stabilizer makes a permanent effect connection between the wheel guides of the wheel axle, and the looping clutches comprise bands (17, 18) that loop the stabilizer.
