<p>The invention relates to an extending table (100) having a frame (101), two end leaves (102, 103) which are mounted such that they can slide on said frame, and at least one pair of pulling bars (105). Each pulling bar is connected to one of the end leaves and is able to slide with respect to the frame so as to move the end leaves apart and bring them together. According to the invention, the table also has a central panel (104) and means (117, 118) for lifting the central panel. The means for lifting the central panel are controlled by the pulling bars such that the central panel can have a first stable position, in which said central panel is located under the plane formed by the end leaves, and a second stable position, in which said central panel is located in the plane of the end leaves.</p> |
