<p>Disclosed is a method of registering access permissions from a first apparatus upon a second apparatus over a network. When the second apparatus receives a connection request from a first apparatus that has not been registered as having access permissions upon the second apparatus, the second apparatus denies the connection by the first apparatus, and transitions to a first mode. In the first mode, the second apparatus detects a user operation, and adjudicates whether or not the user operation thus detected concerns viewing the signal being played by the second apparatus. If the user operation does not concern viewing of the signal, the second apparatus transitions to a second mode for registration of access permissions thereupon. If the user operation does concern viewing thereof, the second apparatus does not transition to the second mode.</p> |
