<p>The invention relates to a novel hydraulic cylinder and piston system for lifting heavy loads, which is made from commercial tubes and in which the cylinder tube (1), which is closed at the lower end thereof, includes a hard welded washer (2) inside the upper end thereof. Another hard washer (4) is welded to the outer face of the piston at a distance from the lower end. The following elements are provided between the cylinder tube and the piston, namely: a variable-shape O-ring (6) made from a high-elasticity, low-friction, compressible, deformable elastomer material; and a loose washer. When the O-ring is compressed, the system closes, ensuring sealing.</p> |
