BASE STATION, TERMINAL EQUIPMENT, COMMUNICATION CONTROL METHOD, AND RADIO COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deterioration of a through-put or delay of processing such as hand-over due to the increase of a measurement gap in radio communication accompanied by carrier aggregation.

SOLUTION: A base station includes: a radio communication unit that performs radio communication with terminal equipment on a communication channel formed by integrating a plurality of component carriers; a determination unit that determines the degree of emergency of hand-over to the other base station of the terminal equipment based on a reception signal received from the terminal equipment by the radio communication unit; and a control unit that controls the allocation of a measurement gap for the terminal equipment for every component carrier according to the degree of emergency determined by the determination unit.
