<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a braking system for a vehicle for suppressing the service brake fade and vapor lock. <P>SOLUTION: A braking ECU 41 determines whether at least one of a downhill flag Fa and a fade flag Fb is 1 in a step S17. When the determination result is Yes, the braking ECU 41 executes a fade restriction process in a step S18. Next, the braking ECU 41 determines whether a pressure flag Fc is 1 in a step S19. When the determination result is Yes, the braking ECU 41 executes a pressure process in a step S20. Then, the braking ECU 41 determines whether the pressure flag Fc is 1 in a step S21.
