<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved cation removing method using a chelate resin. <P>SOLUTION: There are provided are: an improved method for removing cations of, preferably, alkaline earth metals, particularly, calcium and barium from an aqueous solution using a chelate resin having an aminomethyl phosphonic acid group and an iminodimethyl phosphonic acid group, the chelate resin being capable of reducing a cation residual content and attaining high restorative capacity, and having a high cation dynamic absorption capacity in an extremely long load duration time thereof; a chelate-forming exchanger per se, and usage of the chelate-forming exchanger. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
