<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device for creating a general format image file to display each page of an electronic document on a display screen in accordance with the content of the document. <P>SOLUTION: The image processing device includes: an analysis part analyzing character strings in image data of each page, character size of the character strings, and character attributes, as to image data of a plurality of pages constituting document data; a layout part detecting a page where a character string pattern, character size, and a character attribute of a preset line feed condition appear, based on the result of the analysis part, arranging the document data close to either the vertical side or the horizontal side, and arranging the document data on a page meeting the line feed condition on a line different from the data on the previous page; and an image generation part converting a set of pages into one image based on arrangement information of each page arranged by the layout part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
