<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved two-phase brushless DC (BLDC) motor. <P>SOLUTION: The two-phase BLDC motor has a stator and a rotor. The stator includes a stator core and a two-phase winding wound around the stator core. The stator core includes a plurality of teeth, and a slot is formed in between the adjoining teeth. The rotor has a plurality of magnetic poles formed by at least one permanent magnet. Each winding spans a plurality of teeth, and at the same time, the winding is set in the corresponding slot so as to have the same direction of a current running in any slots and at any time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
