<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an interference control method for reducing interference between base stations. <P>SOLUTION: The interference control method is a method for controlling interference between femtocell base stations 3, 4 concerning a cellular communication system constituted of the femtocell base stations 3, 4, and a control station 1. The control station 1 indicates a time period for preforming transmission stop processing and interference power measurement to the femtocell base stations 3, 4, and the femtocell base stations 3, 4 perform transmission stop processing and interference power measurement in the indicated time period, to report the measurement results to the control station 1. The control station 1 calculates setting values for achieving downstream transmission with the interference reduced therein in the system by each one of the femtocell base stations 3, 4 based on the measurement results obtained from the femtocell base stations 3, 4, and then, reports the setting values to the femtocell base stations 3, 4.
