<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten time required for synchronous input and also prevent overcurrent of an inverter when a transformer is excited by using the inverter and synchronous input is performed in a power system. <P>SOLUTION: When the transformer Tr whose primary side is linked to the power system via a circuit breaker CB is excited by the inverter INV from a secondary side, a value of excitation current is detected by a detector CT. Rise speed of an inverter output voltage is changed in accordance with the value.
