<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain, in a grommet, reduction in cost and inserting force and improvement in water stopping performance. <P>SOLUTION: A grommet body 11 includes: a first resin ring holding portion 13 which is protruded from the outer periphery on the length directional rear end side of an inner cylinder portion 12 through which a wire harness 55 is inserted; an outer cylinder portion 14 which is continued to the outer periphery of the first resin ring holding portion 13; a collar portion 15 which has a seal lip 16 protruded to contact with a vehicle body panel 50; and a second resin ring holding portion 17, these portions being continuously provided. When the inner cylinder portion 12 is pulled forward or pushed out with the seal lip 16 being in contact with the body panel 50, a first resin ring 31 held inside the first resin ring holding portion 13 is moved forward, a locking claw portion 44 of a second resin ring 41 held inside the second resin ring holding portion 17 is engagingly locked with a locking hole 35 of the first resin ring 31 to curve the outer cylinder portion 14 outwardly, and a press edge 52 at the circumferential edge of a through-hole 51 of the body panel 50 is held between the curved outer cylinder portion 14 and the collar portion 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
