<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a friction pad assembly capable of realizing reduction in cost and improvement in productivity by moderating the machining accuracy of parts used and reducing the number of the parts. <P>SOLUTION: In the friction pad assembly for a disk brake where a lining assembly 13 is pressed to a disk rotor, the lining assembly 13 includes a friction material 21 and a rear plate part 22 fixed to the rear surface of the friction material, the rear plate part 22 including a plate fitting part 22a and a loose-prevention flange part 22b, and is inserted in a guide hole part 11a provided in a guide plate 11 from the rear face side of the guide plate 11, reliably transmitting brake torque which acts when the disk rotor is in contact with the friction material 21 from the plate fitting part 22a to the guide plate 11. Thus, an integral casing structure is formed where the guide plate 11 and a torque receiving plate 3 abut to each other with a spacer sandwiched therebetween and where no loosening due to vibration occurs. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
