PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a system for processing information. SOLUTION: The device for processing information includes: a server that has broadcast programs and program information of the program recorded in a recording device and manages contents information accumulated for each user; a display controller that controls display of contents information received from the server; a selection section that accepts selection of programs for viewing from contents information that is displayed and controlled by the display controller; and a reproduction control section that controls reproduction of programs for viewing, which are selected by the device for processing information.
