PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot machine which can diversify display modes of a variable display device. SOLUTION: When stop operation is performed at a stop operation position where a combination of "orange-orange-orange" is not drawn on a prize winning line while orange and a winning combination of BB(1) plus orange are won, control for preferentially aligning a chance symbol combination on prize winning lines L1, L2, L3 rather than prize winning lines L4, L5 is performed. When stop operation is performed at a stop operation position where a combination of "orange-orange-orange" is not drawn on the prize winning line while a winning combination of orange plus one token (1) and a winning combination of BB(1) plus orange plus one token (1) are won, control for preferentially aligning a chance symbol combination on the prize winning lines L4, L5 rather than the prize winning lines L1, L2, L3 is performed.
