PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide simple and efficient means for increasing phytoplankton as feed for oyster and scallop. SOLUTION: A method for cultivating oyster or scallop, includes setting a fertilizer vessel including fertilizer on a hanging down type farm. The method contributes to proliferation of phytoplankton by controlling elution of the fertilizer ingredients from the fertilizer vessel, and as the result, promoting the growth of oyster or scallop.
