PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jointed fishing rod having good operability in jointing and preventing a brake noise while inhibiting fixation. SOLUTION: In a jointed fishing rod having ordinary joints, a plural number of projections 12 having proper heights and dispersed to the circumference direction are formed in proper positions inside the tubular rear rod 10. The plural number of projections have the abutment region L which has a proper length in the front and rear direction and which abuts on the rear end 20E of the tubular front rod 20. At the time of jointing, the front end of the tubular rear rod 10 abuts on the whole outer circumference of the front rod 20 and the rear end 20E of the front rod is placed in and abuts on the abutment region L of the projection 12.
