<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a compact and low-cost power converter by effectively controlling voltage of a DC power supply of a single-phase inverter connected in series to an AC output line of a three-phase inverter. <P>SOLUTION: The three-phase main inverter 3 connected to the DC power supply 1 is controlled so that each voltage of 1 pulse is outputted as a main voltage pulse during a half period of a phase voltage command, and an output voltage of two inverters 5 connected in series to an output line 37 is controlled, thus supplying a three-phase AC to a load 9, and switching control for reversely moving rise timing and fall timing of the main voltage pulse and control for moving each timing in the same direction according to voltage of a DC capacitor 53 in a sub-inverter 5 and a power factor of the load 9. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
